What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Management Assistant Lead position at Geisinger?
- Assists with staffing, planning, and management of the operational functions in conjunction with the requirements of all areas.
- Alters normal routines in order to adjust to irregular and emergent situations.
- Assists and instructs in the supervision of specialized technical skills, requirements, and work performance in the department.
- Works with the department in developing quality monitors, in-service programs, and orientation programs.
- Assists with the interviewing and replacement of new or replacement employees.
- Assists in investigation of problem areas or complaints concerning intra-and interdepartmental operation.
- Performs all duties of an Inventory Management Assistant including inventory, ordering, and restocking of supplies on a daily basis.
- Maintains positive customer-focused relationships within the department including managers, pod coordinators, team leaders, physicians, buyers, and sourcing specialist.
Work is typically performed in a warehouse/maintenance or office environment; may require performance of work within clinical areas. Requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Frequently required to reach above head, bend, push, pull, stoop and kneel. Accountable for satisfying all job specific obligations and complying with all organization policies and procedures.
