GEM Technologies, Inc. (GEM) is seeking a Software Developer to join our team. This position is full-time and will support the Kesselring Site in West Milton, NY.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field and 3 years of relevant experience.

Proficient in a variety of software programming languages and platforms.

Proficient in development on the Microsoft Power Platform, ServiceNow, or similar low code/no code application tools.

Proficient in Microsoft SharePoint (site ownership, page design, lists and libraries, etc.).

Proficient in Microsoft Office software (Excel, Access, Visual Basic, Word, Outlook, etc.).

Experience migrating software applications.

Experience in database design and administration.

Experience working with cybersecurity requirements and testing.

Experience writing system documentation and end-user training.

Experience with cloud-based computing.

Strong communication (verbal and written), customer service, teamwork, and process improvement skills.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

The Kesselring Site, located in West Milton, New York, is part of the the Naval Nuclear Laboratory (NNL) which provides broad support for the Naval Nuclear Propulsion Program in the design, development, improvement, maintenance, training for operation of naval nuclear propulsion plants, and ultimate disposition of the plants (energy.gov).
