Job Requirements
  • High School Diploma (or equivalent) and two years of office experience
  • 8D Problem Solving (Training available)
  • Blueprint Reading (Training available)
  • Customer Service / Telephone Etiquette
  • Quality System Work Instruction
  • AS-400 Experience
  • Team Building / Problem Solving
Job Preferences
  • Associate's Degree in related field

  • Telephone etiquette skills
Job Summary
To prepare customer quotes & maintain/update Engineering files.
Essential Job Functions
  • Complete quotations including material, production, and tooling cost per part.
  • Create, distribute, and track feasibility studies for quotation purposes.
  • Create and maintain Engineering part files.
  • Invoice for tooling.
  • Maintain quote files.
  • Keep work area clean and organized at all times.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork.
  • Work on Continuous Improvements activities as assigned.
  • Follow all IATF 1649 & ISO 14001 policies and procedures.
  • Answer phones and direct incoming calls.
  • Distribute Engineering meeting minutes.
  • Coordinate distribution & cost of quality documents in the Engineering department.
  • Create, distribute, and track work orders for sample & non-inventory parts.
  • Check over all PO's (pricing), kick off quotes.
  • All other duties as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.
