Job Summary

This position in the shipping department is intended to ship all Gemini products for customers accurately and in a timely manner, assist co-workers when needed and be able to accurately pull small orders.

Responsibilities

• Understand the palletizing of products to ensure products are not damaged or dumped in transit.

• Assist other co-workers in palletizing products on pallets and wrapping them.
• Be able to read all picking lists thoroughly and have a clear understanding of all containers (size, weight, etc.)
• Be able to learn the basics of pulling orders and be able to accurately pull a small order.
• Follow all safety rules and assure work practices are in the guidelines of OSHA standards.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
• Follow all company rules and policies.
• Be able to work as part of a team and alone.
• Work with employees to maximize productivity and efficiency.
• Maintain a positive attitude in all situations.
• Report for all scheduled shifts on time and return from breaks and lunches in a timely manner.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements

• Basic Math skills
• Effective communication skills (i.e. reading and writing)
• 3 month's warehouse experience preferred
• 3 month's experience operating an electric pallet jack or forklift preferred
• Basic computer skills
• Exemplify professionalism in personal appearance, manner and dress according to acceptable standards set by the company.
• Possess a high work ethic, moral and personal integrity, and honesty.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred

Requirements

• 18 years of age.
• Submit to pre-employment testing (Drug Screening, Background Check, Physical Abilities Test).
