Position: Driver-Transportation
Regional Health Systems is Northwest Indiana’s largest provider of community-based mental health care, primary health care and addiction treatment services. We offer adults and children—both uninsured and insured—integrated care through our community mental health center and federally qualified health center. Regional Health Systems is a member of the Regional Care Group.
Position Purpose:
To provide safe, timely and reliable transportation to Regional clients.
The Driver has regular contact with the Supervisor, Transportation, to receive work assignments and discuss any unusual problems or concerns regarding clients or the transportation function. The incumbent also interacts daily with clients, routinely with staff of other programs or departments to arrange transportation for their clients.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid/Clean Driver’s License
- for-hire endorsement required
- Experience - None required; one-year professional driving experience preferred.
