Job Title: Rental Technician l Level 1

Reports to: Service Manager

Learning period: 90-days

Must possess a positive attitude, good customer Rental skills, present a professional image, observe all company safety regulations, follow employee handbook guidelines and policy and procedures.

Essential Duties:

• Maintenance, repair, fueling of Rental Customer generators and compressors.
• Preventative maintenance, load bank, and field repairs of 10kW–320kW generators.
• Generator Controls: H Panel, Voltage Regulator.
• Transfer Switch: Diagnostic/repair on all brands.
• Assist Senior Technicians with field Rental repairs.
• Delivery, pick-up, and set-up of generators, light towers, cable and accessories.
• Working knowledge of D/C and A/C electrical systems
• Working knowledge of Diesel, Natural Gas, LP Vapor engine maintenance, repair and troubleshooting.
• Load bank and NFPA110/Life Safety

Requirements

• Engine small bore.
• RV, Portable, Air-Cooled Generators.
• Commercial I, II Certifications.
• 1-year FT4 experience or equivalent.
• Ability to work independently in the field.
• Be able to communicate (in English) verbally and in writing,
• Knowledge of load banks, NFPA 110/ Life Safety
• Valid driver’s license – Clean driving record.
• Consistent attendance.
• Ability to work after hours
• US citizenship or authorized to work in US 
• High School Diploma, GED – Preferred
• Ability to pass Background check, Physical and Drug screen
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
