Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Refrigeration Technician to join our team. As a Refrigeration Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our refrigeration systems. This is a hands-on role that requires a strong understanding of HVAC systems, appliance repair, and refrigerant handling.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair refrigeration systems, including HVAC and appliance equipment
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to prevent system failures
- Use an Ohmmeter to test electrical circuits and troubleshoot issues
- Maintain records of work performed and parts replaced
- Drive a van to service locations
- Read and interpret schematics and blueprints
- Perform welding tasks as necessary
- Provide exceptional customer service and maintain a professional attitude
- Build and maintain relationships with clients and colleagues
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience as a Service Technician in the HVAC industry
- Strong understanding of refrigeration systems and ammonia refrigeration
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Familiarity with van driving and navigation
- Experience with appliance repair and maintenance
- Knowledge of schematics and blueprints
- Ability to weld and perform other mechanical tasks
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment
- Physical stamina to perform tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to ongoing education and training to stay current with industry developments

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $71,509.37 - $80,000.00 per year
