Job Posting for phc Retinal Imaging Product Lead at Genentech

The Position

Today only a fraction of humanity receives the best healthcare. There are many reasons why effective and efficient healthcare may not be available to all, why the latest innovations are not widely adopted and integrated into care, and why tailored care plans are not always accessible. But one thing is certain: humanity deserves better. The focus needs to broaden—from treating disease…to delivering patient-centered healthcare.

At Roche, personalized healthcare (PHC) means better health, at a lower cost, for people and society. It means shifting from a one-size-fits-all approach to the best care for each person. The convergence of pioneering science, data, analytics and technology—existing and new—is central to this vision. When data becomes insights, systems learn. The care experience and health outcomes improve. People benefit.

About This Position

The Pharma PHC organization plays a critical role in realizing Roche’s PHC ambitions. This organization’s purpose is to provide patients and health-care professionals with beyond-molecule PHC solutions that produce additional benefit at less cost to society.

In PHC Data, Analytics, and Imaging (DAI) we bring data to life. We enable actionable, meaningful, and cutting-edge insights that empower patients and providers to make health-related decisions that improve lives. DAI is involved throughout the PHC product development process. We power PHC’s products with core components, such as data and algorithms, that fulfill unmet needs for patients and health care providers. As experts who push the edge of our craft, we are also entrepreneurial, contributing and pursuing new ideas that have the potential to make life-changing impact. Along the way, we bring our strong, connected networks, partnerships, and collaborative spirit to the work. Unbridled passion and conviction around how data can improve patient lives drives us to apply our individual and collective talents and skills to the field of personalized healthcare.
