Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute creative strategies and content that align with the company's brand and business goals.
- Designs and directs the work of the creative design team to develop integrated campaigns and content. Develop and execute brand, channel and new product marketing content and campaigns including advertising, publicity, promotions, product launches and sponsorships.
- Cultivate the organizations' use of Generac's brand architecture and brands' visual identities / guidelines, and support naming of new products and offerings.
- Support the creative team to interface with and build strong relationships with internal customers including business groups and corporate functions throughout the company to prioritize work, negotiate clear briefs, present and sell creative ideas and content, and deliver exceptional work on agreed deadlines.
- Cultivate and manage agency and contractor relationships as needed.
- Provide budget oversight to stay on track with forecasts and against stated measures.
- Lead and mentor a team of creative professionals providing guidance, feedback, and support to enhance their growth and development. Motivate the team with impactful people management skills that embody our values - integrity, innovation, agility, teamwork, and excellence.
- Stay current with industry trends and technology, continuously seeking new and innovative ways to drive creative excellence.
Minimal Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Sales, or related work required
- A minimum of 15 years' experience in creative leadership positions with a proven track record of delivering successful creative campaigns
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional creative skills and experience across multiple channels including digital, social, ecommerce, packaging, video, and printed content. Proven track record as a collaborative team player able to work cross-functionally and engage diverse groups of internal team members and build strong client relationships.
- Seen as an effective and impactful people manager including demonstrated strength in building, coaching and motivating teams.
- Ability to think strategically with a keen understanding of branding, marketing, and advertising.
- Passion for creative excellence with a drive to support the team in delivering impactful work.
Physical demands: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear; and use hands to manipulate objects or controls. The employee is regularly required to stand and walk. On occasion the incumbent may be required to stoop, bend or reach above the shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. Specific conditions of this job are typical of frequent and continuous computer-based work requiring periods of sitting; close vision and ability to adjust focus.
