**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess knowledge of dental procedures, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Monday-Thursday.
**Responsibilities:**
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- Prepare patients for dental work
- Take and record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients
- Provide postoperative instructions prescribed by the dentist
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Prepare the necessary materials for various dental procedures
- Educate patients on appropriate oral hygiene strategies
**Qualifications:**
- Certification in Dental Assisting a plus
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft software for patient management
- Knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations for maintaining patient confidentiality
- Ability to perform patient assessments and take X-rays
- Experience with medical records management and medical coding
- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist would be advantageous
