Overview

Plan, organize and direct program activities to ensure achievement of planned program success while facilitating corporate growth by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.

Major Position Responsibilities

Evaluates performance of assigned personnel and identifies deficiencies and growth areas.

Directs activities of assigned personnel engaged in planning and executing funded programs and projects.  The various programs can include studies, designs, cost estimates, preparation of plans and specifications for development, production and integration programs,

Ensures programs are structured in a manner that supports organizational growth and development.

Ensures programs are staffed with appropriately skilled personnel to meet current and future organizational requirements and provides opportunities for subordinates to develop new or maintain existing competencies.

Defines and flows resource requirements to support services (engineering, quality assurance, test range, business operations, and business development)

Responsible for allocation and assignment of PM and PA resources to meet all program and proposal requirements

Maintains forecasts of operating costs of programs and directs preparation of budget requests.

Provides direction for activities that may affect profit, schedule, costs, customer relations, and/or inter-departmental relations.

Ensures program activities are compliant with all corporate and government regulations.

Responsible for the development of procedures to document program specific processes.

Directs interpretation and application of company policies and procedures to the Program Management activities.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or related field plus eight years related experience in program management. Prefer DoD experience. Ability to maintain a secret security clearance.

Computer Skills: Working knowledge MS Office Suite.
