GDIT is currently seeking a talented Network Operations Regional Lead with an active TS/SCI clearance to initiate and maintain organizational knowledge sharing/storage, process improvement initiatives and Operational Management, and working with other organizations as it pertains to the development of and management of operations and project support of voice, video, and/or data communications networks across the Enterprise.
Job Responsibilities

Lead the development of processes, projects and the operational maintenance support of voice, video, and/or data communications networks across the Enterprise.

Analyzes user needs to determine functional requirements for a wide variety of projects.
-
Performs functional allocations to identify tasks and their inter-relationships.
-
Researches, identifies, and recommends resources required for task execution and completion.
-
Performs functional modeling based on requirements analysis.
-
Serves as technical advisor to clients in assigned subject areas, recommends functional changes, and identifies areas for further investigation.

Consults with clients to determine optimum design for assigned projects.
-
Develops new systems or updates existing systems to meet client needs.
-
Identifies emerging relevant technologies that may result in improvements to current processes and systems.
-
Writes and updates project documentation including system procedures, presentations, and training materials.

May provide guidance and work leadership to less-experienced analysts.

Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies and subject areas.

Must be capable of integrating multiple teams within the Task Order to support the ECS2 Operations Mission.

Must display a vision consistent with supporting ECS2 Network Operations' Performance Based Services (PBS) Goals and Objectives.

Must be capable of developing plans and procedures consistent with PBS success.

Will be responsible for required queue management functions and processes.

Participates in special projects as required.

Team administrative duties to include timecards, tracking training and performance evaluations.
Requirements
-
Bachelor's degree and 8 years of relevant experience, or AA/AS degree and 10 years of relevant experience, or High School Diploma and 12 years of relevant experience

Active TS/SCI clearance and ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph.

Security CE or other IA Level II or higher certification required

Solid customer support skills in a highly visible environment

Ability to work independently within a Team Concept (Network Operations)

Able to multitask in a stressful environment

Technical skills commensurate with CCNA and/or Network level technical knowledge.

Video Teleconferencing (VTC) experience.

Understanding of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) principles at a foundation level.

Prior experience tracking and troubleshooting network outages.

Duties may require weekends and evening work on occasion
-
Technical writing to include creating instructions, user guides, SOPs, matrix flow charts, etc.

Research and recommend techniques to increase performance in line with performance based requirements

Investigate, resolve and convey system issues to both technical and non-technical people

Developing training programs and ability to manage a team training program

Ability to document and evaluate training performance

Proven ability to incorporate organizational knowledge across multiple teams and skill sets.

A thorough understanding of the ITIL Change Management process.

Comprehensive knowledge of the principles, methods, techniques, work processes, and applicable regulations in assigned subject-matter area(s).
