GDIT has a Network Engineering position with a federal customer to provide technical expertise to assist with cloud assessment, development and migration. As the network engineer you will help support the implementation of a hybrid cloud Infrastructure using Azure, AWS, GCP and existing On Premises integration.
Job Description
Responsibilities Include:
- Provide technical expertise on current state assessments
- Support critical design challenges in cloud development and migration projects
- Support the design and implement of hybrid cloud Infrastructure using Azure, AWS, GCP
- Provide support to security and network Architecture expertise in support Azure, AWS, GCP and existing on premises integration
- Support Multi Cloud assessments
- Analyzes customer requirements and provides technical solutions to complex problems
- Creates plans and configures systems for data communication network
- Evaluates new communications technologies to enhance capabilities of the network
- Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field. Master's Degree and or combined years of experience preferred but not required.
- 10 years combined work experience in Networking, Cloud Integration and Deployment, Systems Integration or related field.
- Hands on skills and understanding on Routing, Switching, WAN/LAN Integration, Cloud Integration and related subjects.
- Certification preferred but not required - CISSP, CCNA, CCNP, Azure Architect, AWS Architect and or related work experience
- Experience in supporting Multi Cloud assessments
- U.S. Citizen
