General Manager

General Manager- Vela
Chicago, IL Full Time
POSTED ON 3/15/2024
Vela is coming soon to River North. Vela is a regional Mexican concept inspired by the melting pot that is Mexico City – where traditional meets modern, reflecting the country's bounty of natural ingredients and a fusion of many cultures. Our menu showcases the diverse and complex flavors of beautiful Mexico.

Vela, which means candle in Spanish, holds a special place in Mexican tradition. The candle is a representation of family and remembrance. We find a symbolic bridge between the past and the present, where the flames of tradition dance with the contemporary. Our name encapsulates the essence of our commitment – to be a place where the warmth of Mexican culture, the glow of familial bonds, and the flicker of modernity converge to create an unforgettable experience. Welcome to Vela, where every moment is illuminated with the enduring spirit of beautiful Mexico.
