The Associate Manager in Growth Analytics will identify opportunities and risks across MBS categories, General Mills Brands by connecting consumer behavioral data with marketplace realities. With a unique purview of Category/Competitor strategies across eating occasions, the Associate Manager will identify pockets of opportunities for our brands. This role provides unique opportunity to drive Marketing Strategies on Core Growth, Innovation, Consumer Spend, In-Store Merchandising & SRM by leveraging syndicated consumer purchase behavior information.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Own Applied Analytics Team Leadership across multiple categories
- Identify Category & Consumer Growth Pockets for GMI to win in a highly competitive environment across Meals and Baking Solutions categories via Consumer Segmentations, Advanced Panel Deep Dives, Mining Marketplace Trends.
- Proactively provide strategic guidance on growth opportunities during critical apertures: 3OP, YE Plans, Sales Release, Innovation Reviews, Category Growth stories.
- Diagnose and communicate performance and consumer narratives to the Operating Unit to enable common understanding and drive action.
- Consult and educate stakeholders on relevant growth metrics and data sources, including appropriate use case, application, and interpretation. Consult with Central CMI Teams on New Data & Analytic Capabilities.
- Be at the forefront of applying New Data & Analytics Assets: WMT Luminate Panel, Fetch Rewards, Nielsen Precision Areas, Numerator & Shopper Journey tools.
- Work with Eco-system of Partners: Nielsen, Numerator, MF Applied Insights Team, Central Insights Org, Global teams to bring holistic insights.
- Own Nielsen Database product view integrity for (structure & maintenance).
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Market Research, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Analytics
- 3-4 years of experience in Analytics, preferably with Nielsen/IRI data in Sales, Marketing or CMI
- Ability to synthesize data to build and tell a consumer story with credibility
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- MBA or Master’s Degree in related field
- 3-5 years of experience in an analytical role with syndicated Nielsen/IRI data
- Knowledge of and experience with syndicated scanner and panel information and segmentations
- Deep knowledge and application of a variety of consumer purchase behavior data
Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $89200.00 - $148800.00 / Annually. Salary : $89,200 - $148,800
