Job Description

NOTE: This is a Hybrid position within our IT Organization. The role will allow employees to work remotely, but will also require onsite work based on business needs. The selected candidate will be expected to live a commutable distance to the innovation center they are selected for. Relocation will be provided as needed.

About the role:

Support development of the functional strategy and portfolio/business plan, tracking execution and results, ensuring action items are completed on time, performing competitive assessments, implementing process improvements, and facilitating communication to the leadership team.

Responsible for:
  • Support Functional leader in the organization and running of the business (staff meetings, special assignments, etc.)
  • Develop and maintain multi-year Business strategy
  • Manage the portfolio/business planning process
  • Summarize the project business cases (deliverables, benefits, timing)
  • Assess execution of Business/Functional initiatives versus the Business/Functional plan
  • Define the Business/Functional competitive assessment process
  • Interpret complex quantitative and qualitative data and recommend solutions to unusual problems
  • Manages budgets
  • Identify and quantify cost reduction opportunities (working with other teams)
  • Analyze and report out on key operating metrics for the group
  • Handle a variety of special assignments
  • Develop and conduct presentations for all levels of management
  • Identify and implement process improvements for business management

Additional Job Description

Qualfications:
  • At least 8-10 years experience
  • Expertise with Microsoft tools
  • Demonstrated experience with c-level communication
  • Some hands-on technical experience or industry experience in one or more of the following areas: Data Analytics, Solution Architecture, or adjacent areas
