Computer Room Operator

Job Description

Responsible for ensuring the successful creation and completion of end-user initiated requests for products and services. Through the use of various tools, they validate, analyze, build, route, manage and mark for completion each service request. They serve as single points of contact for escalations, status checks and rework. Maintains, analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals.

As a Computer Room Operator, you will:

• Be responsible for daily extraction of warehouse tags.
  
• Support printers and our warehouse management system software.
  
• Responsible for ensuring the successful creation and completion of end-user initiated requests for products and services.
  
• Using various tools, you will validate, analyze, build, route, manage and mark for completion each service request.
  
• Serve as single points of contact for escalations, status checks and rework.
  
• Maintain, analyze, troubleshoot, and repair computer systems, hardware and computer peripherals.
  
• Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
  
• Role will work closely with local IT peers and central IT support teams to maintain the IT infrastructure required to maintain support at the CCA warehouse IT systems.

Required Qualifications:

• General understanding of the service request process including functions performed by other teams
  
• Proficient in relevant computer applications
  
• Ability to handle changes in request to volumes
  
• Attention to detail and ability to prioritize work
  
• Ability to work with or without supervision and as part of a team
  
• Successful completion of one of the Microsoft exams
  
• Good understanding of the service request process from end to end
  
• Knowledge of administrative and clerical processes.
  
• Ability to handle changes in request volumes

• Good data entry/keyboard skills
