The GM CDAO Enterprise Customer Platform team drives the innovation and coordinates operational support and enhancements of enterprise data platforms, explicitly owning and prioritizing the technical development backlog and performing data stewardship activities over Organizational Customer information in the GM Customer Platform (North America).

Core Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into actionable Product Features and prioritize them in the Product backlog
- Work closely with Architects to ensure alignment of information strategy in the solution design
- Develop acceptance criteria to validate the developed Product Features meets functional and non-functional requirements
- Actively work with the various teams involved in managing Organizational Customer information across the organization to shape the product strategy and prioritize needs
- Define the roadmap for development of Customer Platform capabilities that satisfy requirements and achieve business outcomes that rely upon management of Organizational Customer information
- Establish and build upon standard processes to govern Organizational Customer information, establishing data quality standards and processes to remediate issues and maintaining appropriate metadata to support ease of use of the data
- Develop reports and related processes to monitor and track operational performance of the Customer Platform, pertinent to the management of Organizational Customer information
- Coordinate with data governance to ensure solution designs comply with all relevant policies to ensure data is appropriately accessible, consistent, secure and of high quality

5 years of experience in the below areas:
- Understanding of how Customer data is used within business processes and the impact on desired business outcomes
- Demonstrated success in defining and building products
- Demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information in a condensed manner to various stakeholders verbally and in writing
- Ability to surface, prioritize, and balance multiple stakeholder priorities
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills, including experience leveraging data to inform decision making and applying insights into improving business processes and functions
- Strong attention to detail, able to deliver high quality results under tight project deadlines
- Able to work independently and make decisions while also exercising proper escalation with a strong drive for results
- Ability to communicate at various levels of the organization tailored appropriately to the audience in written, presentation, or ad-hoc verbal formats
- Expertise in strategic thinking and strong business acumen
- Ability to effectively interact with cross functional teams
Preferred Skills / Experience
- Knowledge of automobile industry and managing customer information
- Demonstrated agile development experience, preferably utilizing the SAFe agile framework
- Quickly learns and adapts skills to work on various projects in and with different technical and functional areas
- Willingness and ability to contribute on multiple levels, including data management, business data architecture, project management, and documentation
Required Education:
- A Bachelor's degree in a system analysis field including: Information Management, Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Governance, or related field or relevant experience
- Education and training related to business process improvement and quality-assurance methods, e.g. such as Six Sigma (preferred)
