Job Description

Hybrid: This position does not require an employee to be on-site full-time to perform most effectively. The employee's role enables them to work at a GM facility or off-site as frequently as needed or desired.
  • This position requires an employee to be onsite 1-3 times per week.

This position is responsible for tracking sales, royalty reporting, and payments from GM Licensed Merchandise and GM Licensed Accessories licensees.

This area works closely with the licensing contract manager to ensure amendments and renewals are handled, ensures GM policies such as export compliance are followed, tracks royalty reports and collections and reconciles quarterly royalties.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage royalty reporting, reconciliation, and payment processes
  • Manage overall relationship with licensing software supplier
  • Maintain licensing software to track GM Merchandise and GM Licensed Accessories licensees' contracts, sales and royalty reporting, royalty payments, product reviews, trademark symbol usage, insurance certificates and other license agreement elements
  • Train licensees on licensing software for product reviews, reporting sales, royalties, and payments
  • Review submitted royalty reports, verify against license agreement terms, follow up with licensees as required to ensure full reporting and payments
  • Collect, review, record, and allocate royalty payments received via ACH/Wire and direct through mail for GM brand merchandise and GM Licensed Accessories
  • Develop and maintain process for delinquent reporting and payments from licensees
  • Reconcile and accrue royalty payments monthly
  • Provide licensee performance information (contract adherence, sales and royalty information) to Licensing team to aid in renewal decisions
  • Support counterfeiting and infringement removal efforts
  • Support licensee audit process

  • Marketing or advertising experience helpful
  • Experience managing a budget preferred
