Job Description

Software Defined Vehicle (SDV) group supports the definition, design, and development of continuously improving mobility services. SDV is new vehicle intelligence platform that will underpin all our future innovations across a wide range of technological advancements, including EVs and expanded automated driving. This means that you can potentially put a fingerprint on the vehicles that drive down the road! This space is ripe with technical leadership opportunities for advanced technology development, as well as the ability to provide mentorship for new employees. You can flex your collaboration muscles as you will be tasked with working with several other areas of engineering, IT, and the business!

The SDV PMO & Tools Team is looking for a highly motivated and experienced Software Tools and Data Analyst to support Team Foundation Server (TFS) / PPM / Galileo and other tools applied within the organization. Well-qualified candidates must possess excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and demonstrate ability to oversee efforts across functional areas.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and Support Reporting Capabilities for Portfolio Reporting.
  • Develop and Support Reporting Capabilities for Scaled Agile Process Reporting...including the creation and measurement of appropriate KPIs, OKRs, Epic/Feature status, etc.
  • Deliver support for reporting through Power BI and Excel Power Pivot
  • Support SDV use of tools (Azure Devops / PPM / Galileo)
  • Evaluate, provide recommendations, and enhance the existing TFS & Azure DevOps architecture, configuration, procedures and processes to provide a more robust, dependable, efficient and flexible system

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field
  • Experience Developing visual reports, KPI scorecards, and dashboards.
  • Experience Connecting data sources, importing data, and transforming data for Business intelligence.
  • Analytical thinking for translating data into informative reports and visuals.
  • Experience with TFS/Azure DevOps
  • Experience using or developing REST APIs
  • Intermediate SQL query skills beneficial
  • Background in Agile delivery and a knowledge of Agile software development lifecycles and activities. Experience with Scaled Agile Framework environments (SAFe) is a plus.
  • Aptitude to learn quickly and a superb attention to detail and process orientation
  • Strong organizational skills. Ability to set and manage priorities judiciously.
  • Ability to advocate for and ensure efficiencies of implementation across functional areas
  • Strong relationship building skills including the ability to relate constructively to all levels of the organization.
  • Strong listening and written and oral communication skills.
  • A proven ability to plan, undertake and finish activities to achieve high quality results.
  • The desire to be part of, and to contribute to, a team environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to keeping sensitive information confidential
  • Ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical addressees
  • Exceptionally self-motivated and directed.

Desired Skills
  • Experience working with or deploying to Pivotal Cloud Foundry
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools
  • 3 years of experience of product and portfolio planning tools (e.g., HP PPM, TFS (ADO), etc.)
  • 3 years of working knowledge of agile practices with understanding of how this impacts portfolio planning
  • 3 years of experience in multiple software development disciplines (e.g., Agile, SAFe, Scrum, SDLC)
  • Experience with BI reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), Power Query (M), Dataflows and Data Analysis Expressions (DAX)
  • Experience in the area of project or program planning
  • Able to communicate cross-functionally and across management levels in formal and informal settings through written and verbal channels
  • The desire to learn and a relentless need for improvement.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and change.
  • Collaborative mindset to create the best solutions
  • Intellectual agility and creativity to anticipate obstacles and identify alternatives
  • Self-starter with experience in producing results through influence of peer organizations
