Job Purpose
Generation Schools Network’s vision is that all schools are vibrant, inclusive ecosystems that ensure every student thrives in school, work, and life. We are searching for an in-person Office &and Administrative Coordinator responsible for operations, administrative, and office support. This position will maintainbe a critical home-base and be a point person for our Denver office. Thus, the hire will need to maintain a consistent schedule in the office with some limited flexibility. This person will support a wide-range of staff and simultaneously be tasked with many small projects. The ability to work in an organized, end-goal manner in a fast-paced, dynamic environment is a must! The ideal candidate must have excellent computer, verbal, and written communication skills. Additionally, this position must have a “taking ownership and responsibility” mindset and be willing to ensure the job is finished effectively and efficiently, while managing up.
Responsibilities
Administration & Executive Office Support
- On-site Office Manager & primary point-of-contact for building management
- Coordinate meetings, conferences, events
- Assist in solving technology and computer challenges
- Track employee paid time off
- Maintain an officeMaintain office environment with supplies, food, etc.
Board of Directors
- Manage the Google Drive folder and permissions
- Manage and update the board list and employer information
- Schedule meetings and assist with facilitation and communication
- Record, write, and distribute board meeting minutes
- Send documents needed for signature and tally vote counts
Scheduling
- Schedule meetings for the Executive team: potential funders, partners, media, legislators, districts, state personnel, etc.
- Schedule internal meetings involving multiple staff for both internal and external participants
Contact Management
- Ensure contacts are added to the Active Campaign
- Keep all contact lists up to date by managing change requests from our staff
Additional Administrative Support
- Administer the day-to-day requirements of Empowering Education (Social & Emotional Learning curriculum program)
- Monitoring email accounts and conduct client research
- Other administrative tasks that may be needed from time to time
