HOSPITAL LIAISON BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – Generations Healthcare Network - for Rock Island, IL

Generations Healthcare Network has an immediate opening for a Full-Time Hospital Liaison Business Development Manager for a network facility in Rock Island IL.

We seek a dynamic individual who will be the face of our company, nurturing current relationships and building new ones in the healthcare community. This position will be based at Generations at Rock Island IL.

Responsibilities of the Hospital Liaison Business Development Manager:

• Develop and maintain relationships with hospitals, social workers and physicians to generate qualified referrals

• Facilitate and assess patient referrals for admission to the Skilled Nursing facility

• Assess complex referrals for patients with ventilator needs

• Meet with families and patients at facilities to assist with admissions

• Coordinate promotional events including open houses, health fairs, etc.

Requirements for the Hospital Liaison Business Development Manager:

A.A., B.A. or B.S. in Nursing, Physical, Occupational or Speech Therapy a PLUS!

• Experience in Healthcare Marketing

• Sales and Marketing experience in healthcare with regard to generating referral sources

• Solid understanding of Skilled Nursing facilities

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

• Competitive nature

• Knowledge of area hospitals and other local healthcare organizations

• Has established relationships with social workers and discharge planners

• Good understanding of HIPAA regulations

• Good understanding of private insurance, Medicare and Medicaid benefits as they pertain to skilled nursing

• Local travel required (reimbursement provided)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
