Job Title: Sales Associate
Supervisor: Sales Director
General Job Summary: The primary focus of the Sales Associate is to perform the following functions in order to maintain and increase overall census of the community.
Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- Work with Sales Director to ensure that monthly sales goals are met
- Give meaningful tours, listen to prospects and their family members, provide guidance & be able to receive and organize deposits, and facilitate move-ins
- Use database to track lead generation, sales activities, prospect readiness, and referral source success in an accurate and timely manner
- Ensure we are providing an excellent and seamless move experience by coordinating with resident, family members, each department, and outside vendors before and during the move in
- Assist with resident agreement signings as needed
- Assist in maintaining room-readiness records and communicate with all departments necessary to ensure rent-ready apartments
- Attend all required meeting, trainings, and group events
- Participate in promotional activities such as trade shows, and offsite events.
- Promote and attend special events such as theme parties, open house events and educational programs to generate traffic
- Assist Sales Director with Quarterly Sales and Marketing plan.
- Tour competitors assist with bi-annual competitive market analysis
- Attend daily sales meeting to conduct prospect planning sessions and track move in progress
- Work with Sales Director to meet outreach goals
- Arrange for, purchase, set-up, and distribute marketing gifts when appropriate.
- Maintain professional personal appearance and adhere to dress code as outlined in employee manual.
- Perform all other duties as requested by your supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Excellent interpersonal & relationship building skills
- At least one year of sales experience required
- Prefer experience working in an industry related to seniors
- Ability to read, write, communicate, and follow written and oral instructions in the English language.
RESPONSIBILITIES
To carry out all of the duties and responsibilities in a professional manner. Maintain resident confidentiality. Must present a professional demeanor that communicates to current and prospective residents the corporate philosophy and mission statement of service, goodwill, and genuine interest in the resident’s unique and changing needs.
Salary: Base Commission
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
