The Vitality Assistant (Activity Assistant) at Parkview Memory Care at Cherrywood Village supports whole-person wellness by encouraging participation in campus events and activities. This position assists with activities that enrich the mind, body, and spirit. Communicates the Vitality philosophy and the benefits of participating to staff and residents both verbally and by example. Complies with federal, state, and local regulations. Incorporates Generations' Mission, Vision, and Values into their work and interactions with others.

Schedule:
- Wednesday - Sunday from 8:30 am to 5 pm
- 8 Hour Shifts
- Weekend and holiday availability preferred
Requirements:
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Minimum 1-year related experience in activities and/or wellness with older adults, preferably in the senior housing industry.
- Current CPR certification, or to be completed within 30 days of hire.
- Ability to read, write, communicate, and follow written and oral instructions in the English language.
- Ability to motivate others and encourage participation in meaningful activities.
- Functions as a team member and demonstrates leadership abilities
- Computer competency required including Microsoft Office
- Must be able to work well and cooperate with others.
- Ability to communicate with empathy and compassion
- Ability to speak in public and articulate ideas clearly
- Must be passionate about wellness and life enrichment for older adults
