Field Service Technician

Generator Source has current openings for highly experienced Industrial Generator Mechanics and Field Technicians in the Denver, Colorado area.

Generator Source is the North American leading provider of both government and private sector organizations who rely on the critical standby/emergency power segments of utilities, telecom, hospital, and data center services.

Generator Source's focus is on new and low-hour industrial diesel and natural gas generators ranging from 500kW to 4000 kW from top name brands like Cummins, Caterpillar, Kohler, Generac, MTU, and more.

JOB REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:

• 8 years of hands-on experience working on Heavy Equipment and Industrial Generators.
• 8 years experience working with industrial diesel engines and related equipment required.
• Proven ability to maintain customer equipment operation by completing inspections, preventive maintenance, correcting deficiencies, keeping records, diagnosing electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to run load bank tests on diesel, natural gas, and propane generators required.
• Ability to make wiring modifications to control circuits and electrical apparatus specific to the standby systems.
• Work closely with the Service Manager on project progress, and estimates.
• Other duties as required.

COMPENSATION: Highly Competitive - Employee Medical covered at 100%.
