Job Summary:
- Pharmacist is responsible for providing a comprehensive pharmacy and medication management service to patients and ensures a consistent level of service in accordance to TCRHCC policies.
- Direct patient care and services are provided to neo-natal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, geriatric, oncology, and obstetric patients.
- This position requires working rotational shifts: day, evening, nights, weekends, and Holidays.
- The position provides the opportunity for career advancement through tier levels of Pharmacist to Advanced Practice Pharmacist as determined by pharmacy experience.
- Advanced Practice Pharmacist serves as a clinical pharmacist for direct clinical pharmacy services for inpatient and outpatient departments.
- In addition to the responsibilities of Advanced Practice Pharmacist I, Advanced Practice Pharmacist II is responsible for all specialized pharmacy-based clinics and providing an ongoing analysis of clinical services to develop programs that commensurate with the highest quality of care.
- Responsibilities also include the administration of policies and procedures and directing programs and activities in accordance to Client’s mission, vision, and values.
- Incumbent serves as the Clinic Manager of Operations at the designated clinic(s) and provides technical and administrative supervision to professional and non-professional employees, i.e. Advanced Practice I, Staff Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Pharmacy Assistants and Pharmacy Billers.
- Doctor of Pharmacy or a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from a school recognized by the American Council of Pharmaceutical Education.
- Must have a current valid and unrestricted license to practice Pharmacy in a State or Territory of the United States, or the District of Columbia and have a current valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- A minimum of two (2) years' experience as a Registered Pharmacist; A minimum of one (1) year experience as a Clinical Pharmacist.
