Job Summary: The Lab Technician will assist the scientist with the production of supplements and skincare products and assist with safety and quality tests for raw materials and final products.Supervisory Responsibilities:

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Conducts tests under the supervision of a scientist to identify factors in raw materials.
- Assists scientist with supplement product safety and quality testing
- Assists scientist with research of improvements to manufacturing and QC methods.
- Ensures products and processes are compliant with Food and Drug Administration rules and regulations.
- Compounds raw materials to make supplement and skincare products under the training and supervision of the scientist.
- Presses the supplement compounds into capsules using a manual capsule press.
- Bottles and labels products.
- Blends and processes raw materials to make skincare products.
- Bottles and labels skincare products.
- Ensures laboratory is properly stocked.
- Ensures equipment is ready and in proper working order.
- Ensures raw materials and finished goods are handled, processed, and stored properly.
- Ensures personal hygiene rules are followed.
- Cleans the lab area.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software including Excel.
- Analytical and numerical skills; ability to perform mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply, divide) in different units of measurement; ability to use concepts such as fractions, percentages, averages, and ratios.
- Detail oriented.
- Ability to follow direction.
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently.
Education and Experience:
- Highschool diploma; Chemistry coursework is preferred but not required.

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour
