JOB SUMMARY
The department is looking to add a Business Analyst to support their Patch Management Program by using a wide range of configuration management tools, integrated digital/web services and solutions, and development methodologies. The Business Analyst will support agencies by gathering/analyzing/translating requirements, analyzing propositions, and assessing decision-making factors such as strategic alignment, cost/benefit, and risk. They will work closely with a Product Manager to define a product approach to meet specified user needs by defining skill requirements, creating roadmaps, analyzing requirements during delivery, risks, costs, and proposing mitigation solutions to ensure successful implementations.
SKILLS/EXP
- 5 years managing endpoints (laptops, desktops, tablets) for a medium to large environment, e.g., 8,000 endpoints using endpoint configuration management software, such as Intune, Jamf, Tanium, etc.
- 5 years applying analytical processes on IT projects
- Establishing patch management best practices, including patch compliance monitoring; software inventory utilization; expanded user acceptance testing; remediation of out of compliance devices; remediating lost, unmanaged, and unmanageable devices, etc.
- Performing requirements analysis, documentation, and quality assurance for each deliverable.
- Experience ensuring enhanced processes and services are technically, operationally, and legally supported by analyzing, compiling business requirements, and solidifying successful implementation.
- Developing, coordinating, and implementing methodology and scope for multiple complex projects; strong analytical and research techniques to identify gaps and inconsistencies within current measurement tools, allowing development of improved and cost-effective business models
- Bachelors’ degree required
