Join Genesis as a Restorative Nurse Aide where in collaboration with a licensed nurse and rehabilitation therapy, you will support patients' ability to attain, and maintain their maximum functional abilities/potential and prevent decline. You'll deliver efficient and effective restorative nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes and patient/family satisfaction.

Position Highlights
*Provide, oversee, direct and participate in restorative programs and care for individual patients.
*Maintain accurate restorative nursing progress/documentation records on all patients participating in any restorative program
*Participate in the care planning process.
*Facilitate the transition of patients from skilled rehabilitation services to the restorative programs.
*Train other direct care staff in restorative techniques, equipment, and the application of splints, braces, prosthetic appliances, and self-help devices to assure proper application and usage.
*Notify nursing and/or rehabilitation therapy of patients who may be experiencing a change in their level of functioning.
*May be requested to function as CNA if needed.

Qualifications:

*Successful completion of a state approved certified nursing assistant program is required. *Two years' experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant -- CNA and knowledge of restorative nursing philosophy and procedures is required. *A minimum of a high school education or high school equivalency diploma is preferred. *Basic knowledge computers is preferred. *Must attend a minimum of 12 hours continuing education programs provided by the nursing center in order to maintain certification.
