Genesis Reference Laboratories is seeking a Laboratory Care Specialist, Specimen Collector (Lab Data Entry and Sample Collection) to collect specimens for Toxicology and PCR Testing with our Clinical Partners in Alacia, TX
This is a Part-Time position. Monday and Thursday 8am-5pm Previous medical or laboratory experience is preferred but not required.
Data entry skills, basic computer knowledge, and willingness to learn are required. Responsibilities:
Accurately enter patient data into laboratory software
Create lab requisition forms using laboratory software
Prepare specimen collection kits
Properly collect, label, and package specimens for shipment
Communicate effectively with account staff regarding patient reports
Monitor specimen turnaround time and work with supervisor to resolve issues Monitor collection supply volume and ensure timely fulfillment of supply requests
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to work independently
Excellent communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Reliability
Valid Drivers License and Reliable Transportation.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
