Summary:
- Genesis10 is currently seeking a qualified candidate for an Accountant for our financial services client in Houston, TX. This is a hybrid role with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.
- Qualified candidate will perform moderately complex accounting activities relating to the maintenance of a complete and accurate general ledger and the resultant managerial reports and financial statements.
- Duties may include, but are not limited to, the following: general ledger account analysis, reconciliations, journal entries, accounts receivable, accounts payable, billings, and various other ad-hoc duties.
- Assist with trade validation, comparing data, processing of lifecycle data, applying P&I (principal and interest)
- Bachelor's degree in accounting preferred.
- Able to read/review documentation and ensure accuracy.
- Proficient experience with Excel.
- Have great attention to detail.
- Must be able to come into the office 3 days of the week.
- Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
- Syndicated Loan Experience.
- Accounting experience
- Reconciliation Skills.
- Intermediate Excel Skills.
