Data Analyst - Analytics

Job Description

Genesis10 is seeking an Analytics Analyst for a 10 month contract position with a corporate investment banking company located in Jersey City, NJ. Candidate can sit 100% remote but a commutable distance is desired.

Summary:
This individual will work on a key strategic data center migration initiative that will have significant impact within the technology organization. This requires a broad base of education and experience in understanding of technical infrastructure project and business operations. The individual must have strong analytical capability and discipline that can be applied within different types of a data sets and processes and tools to support the analysis, communication and presentation of findings and recommendations.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop, review and troubleshoot specific data gathering, analysis, modelling, and reporting according to specifications using standard MS desktop products. Including: uploading/inputting of data, analytical review for validation and/or reconcilement, investigation, and resolution of discrepancies, while meeting required timelines and quality standards.
• Work independently on complex project matters as related to analyses of project implementation status, providing feedback to project leadership of business plans and risk-related matters, communicating / presenting analyses and findings, and making recommendations for improvement in respective areas.
• Liaise directly with internal initiative team members and leads to identify, interpret, and resolve specific issues while meeting required turnaround times and quality standards
• Investigation and resolution of cases raised while meeting required turnaround times and quality standards for client service/admin teams.
• Review, update, modify, and test any required changes to the complex financial models.

Qualifications:

• bility to comprehend, interpret and analyze data sources and moderately complex analyses interact with stakeholders at various levels where necessary to resolve issues
• bility to communicate effectively with others
• the ability to understand requirements and formulate new, innovative solutions.
• 7 years' experience working within technology infrastructure organizations platforms, systems, and business operations.
• Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and BI.
• Exceptional analytical, communication, organizational and time-management skills.

The hourly pay rate range for this position is $65.00 - $70.00
