DB2/Mainframe

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer with our client in the financial industry located in Pennington, NJ. This is a 12 month contract position.

Responsibilities

• Support ongoing new development and maintenance activities
• Daily activities include coding, testing, participating in design review and release activities
• Responsible for application design, development, code reviews, writing and maintaining programming documentation, project coordination, and deployment support
  
  

Requirements

• 7-10 years in IT
• 5-7 years in a DB2/Mainframe developer role, solutions architect role or product owner role
• Skillful in gathering and analyzing requirements impacting data-intensive applications/systems, and building solutions for fulfilling those requirements
• Critical thinker with superior written and oral communication skills as well as meeting facilitation skills
• Able to write database queries and navigate database schemas in order to support analysis effort
• Experience in Agile methodology
• DataStage and Cobol Mainframe programmer with strong analytical and design skills
• Able to work independently and deliver high quality results
  
  

Desired Skills

• Cobol, DB2, Stored Procedures, BMC and IBM utilities, CICS, JCL, Procs, MQ, Sola, Data Services and interfaces with multiple online platforms
• Prior experience with processes impacting client data and/or account data, preferably onboarding processes (client profiling, account opening, account maintenance, AML (Anti Money Laundering) and KYC (Know Your Client) processes)
• Demonstrate knowledge, with prior experience, of two or more of the following functional areas in a data domain: Identity matching and data survivorship; Risk identification and mitigation; Client on-boarding and maintenance; Data provisioning
  
  

Pay Range: $58.26 - $66.26
