The Mechanical Engineer will support R&D for product development of bioprocessing equipment.

Job Description:
The Mechanical Engineer will support R&D for product development of bioprocessing equipment.
- This role requires a technical aptitude and understanding of P&ID's, vessels, piping systems, instrumentation, controls, and heating/cooling.
- Ability to assemble, operate, and troubleshoot mechanical systems safely in a manufacturing environment.
- Experienced with ERP systems to create BOM's and execute ECO's.
- Create purchase specifications for equipment with an understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements in the bioprocessing equipment industry.
- Create and execute test protocols and reports -Direct experience with heating and cooling equipment desired.
- Hands-on experience desired.
- The current project phase of this new product development is close to design freeze so we will be going into engineering test verifications, product release to production, and product launch.
- Willingness and capacity to learn and hands-on operation of equipment.
- This position will need to understand capital equipment (temperature control unit), sensors, and pumps.
