Job Description

Genesis10 is currently seeking an Information Technology - Product Safety Systems Analyst with our client in their Neenah, WI location. This is a 12 month contract and a 100% remote position.

Summary:
  • The Product Safety Systems Analyst supports Product Safety through all phases of Project Aurora.
  • The successful candidate will possess the ability to evaluate varied AS IS Product Safety and Chemical Compliance software-based business processes and functional requirements and collaborate to determine the best path to move those processes toward the desired global standard.
  • The incumbent reports to the Product Safety Process Owner, Aurora, with additional work direction from the Product Safety Process Lead.
  • The Product Safety Systems Analyst will support the development of the business process and deployment of the future state Product Safety processes in scope of Project Aurora.
  • Primary scope includes SAP PLM recipes, specifications, BOM, packaging, labels/artwork, EHS and regulatory & compliance.
Responsibilities:
  • Works with the Process Lead to ensure all elements of Global Product Safety, Stewardship, and Medical Affairs business requirements are designed, built, tested, and deployed within SAP S/4HANA.
  • Documents all system solutions with focus on system functionality and business utilization.
  • Works with the Process Lead to translate business process requirements to IT build items.
  • Supports evaluation of AS IS operational issues and highlighted global solution roadblocks and propose alternatives that lead to adoption of the new global standard process.
  • Participates in business process model definition meetings and interfaces with Process Lead as required for clarifications.
  • Support the development of sprint and deliverable plans, including prioritization of build items from a business process perspective.
  • Work with Aurora project team members following Agile project management methodology.
  • Builds the institutional solution knowledge for long-term business understanding and support.
  • Support creation of training materials, work instructions and procedures based on new business processes.
  • Act as Point of Contact for Build Item and Requirement clarifications during the Agile Sprint.
  • Work with cross functional and intradepartmental stakeholders to identify and understand their needs.
  • Coordinates integration requirements within different SAP modules and between SAP and 3rd party systems.
  • Responsible for deliverables (Business Process Requirements, Business Process Design Documents, Business Process Model, User Acceptance Testing, and Computer Systems Validation).
  • Ensures existing product safety and chemical management system interfaces are identified and designed appropriately into the new solution(s).
  • Consider global activities and requirements.
  • Liaison with the product safety and medical team to ensure current standards are well understood and integrated into the duration of Digital Transformation.
  • Develops standardized system approaches aligned with industry best practices in product safety and chemical management.
  • Provides expertise by sharing external safety, stewardship and compliance environment, industry trends as well recommending actions to address any potential impact to the enterprise.
  • Builds capability in self by maintaining and demonstrating a high degree of knowledge and skill in quality management systems, safety and chemical management processes and regulations, as well as IT literacy.
  • Builds and maintains strong relationships and networks with key stakeholders and peers within the business unit, across the enterprise, and across industry.
  • Establishes and maintains collaborative relationships while driving solutions to meet business needs.
  • Develops and maintains a strong spirit of partnership.
  • Conduct all communications and transactions with the utmost integrity, consistent with the Client Code of Conduct.
  • Communicate effectively with Senior Leaders, Peers, Functional Partners.

  • Experience working with blended teams consisting of employees, vendors, and consultants with both onshore and offshore resources.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with strong desire to work in cross functional teams.
  • Possess strong leadership skills and exhibit creative thinking to be able to come up with inventive solutions to solve business challenges.
  • Ability to work in a virtual team which may work across distance (remote), cultures and time zones, in a matrix with multiple reporting lines, and may extend outside the client organization including suppliers, partners and customers.
  • Work is completed primarily in an office environment.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in sciences, Engineering, or equivalent technical degree.
  • 5 years of experience in a regulatory, product safety, stewardship or chemical management role in a consumer, chemical, cosmetic, medical device, or similar company environment.
  • Strong IT literacy, aptitude for systems thinking, and demonstrated proficiency working within a safety, chemical management and/or quality database.
  • Proven ability to communicate in written and spoken English.
  • Ability to thoroughly document business processes and complex system solutions.
  • Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
Desired:
  • A minimum of 3 years developing and deploying efficient and effective safety, stewardship, or chemical management software system-based processes, preferably across multiple geographic regions.
  • Familiar with the technology landscape for End-To-End Product Lifecycle and where the QMS elements fit along that path.
  • Experience in an organization with product safety and stewardship as a compliance function.
  • Experience with company controls for launch clearance and associated data.
  • Demonstrated understanding of product safety and chemical management processes for compliance assurance across the globe.
  • Demonstrate understanding and impact of industry trends in product safety, chemical management, supply chain transparency, and product life cycle requirements and best practices via internal/external benchmarking for integration considerations into business specific quality strategies.
  • Gather and articulate global requirements.
  • Ability to influence and engage at varying levels of the organization.
  • Training system development and/or management.
  • Experience working in quality systems where product safety and chemical management standards are followed.
  • Ability to anticipate and meet deadlines, handling multiple simultaneous deadlines, prioritizing work, strong attention to detail, and the ability to retain confidential information.
  • Collaborative, responsive, action-oriented, and innovative problem solver.
  • Experience working within an ERP and PLM system as a business user.
  • Experience writing requirement for configuration and customization of a PLM system.
  • Experience in User Acceptance Testing including creating test scripts and documenting results.
  • Experience working with an Agile project management environment.
  • Experience with JIRA or Azure Dev Ops.
Pay rate range: $41.37- $51.72 hourly.
