Genesis10 is seeking a Print Engineer for direct placement with our client. 100% Remote.
Summary:
The Print Engineer will manage, analyze, create, and modify network print/imaging solutions as well as support the SAP print space. This role will lead efforts in planning, coordinating, and executing complex print/imaging projects and will be responsible for design, deployment, testing, and addressing interoperability issues, not only of the base operating system but for all support drivers, firmware components, and application dependencies, namely those associated with SAP/ Global Labeling Management Print Tool ( GLM).

Responsibilities:
- Establish ownership and direction of print engineering space
- Primary print/scan SME for enterprise and SAP print services
- Provide support for printer and print server installations and post-install support services
- Evaluate and push driver and firmware updates as necessary
- Ability to logically troubleshoot technical issues through use of application and system logs
- Consultative approach to interfacing with internal and external clients
- Willingness to apply focus to unfamiliar parts of the business driving internal improvement
- Experience with multi-vendor enterprise print solutions and capabilities
- Ability to document technical environments, project deliverables and respond to technical RFP questions
- Ability to assist or create Statements of Work (SOW) for planned print related projects
Qualifications:
- 5 years supporting Windows Print Servers
- Experience with SAP label printing / GLM
- Familiarity with Zebra label printers, Multi-Function Printers (MFP), and network MFP scanning
- Proximity badge authentication for secure print/scan functionality
- Knowledgeable of Microsoft Operating Systems, Office, Networking, Mobile Devices, and computer hardware
Compensation:
- We have access to additional contract, contract-to-hire, and direct hire positions with various rate ranges.
