Responsibilities:
- Lead the push for horizontally scalable, high-performance applications
- Work on the client reference data platforms
Requirements:
- 5 - 8 years of working experience
- 5 years of heavy, hands-on, software development in a 3rd-gen language (Scala, Java, Python etc.)
- Test driven methodologies, work in automation of unit and regression tests, CI/CD
- Capable of basic data analysis and requirements gathering
- Experience in working with Agile development environment
- Experience working with REST based webservices
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills, and enjoy a collaborative environment
- Flexible, self-starter, fast-learner - willing and able to quickly learn new technologies and skills
- Ability to learn, adapt and work with minimal direct supervision
Desired skills:
- Exposure to Apache HIVE, SPARK etc.
- Experience with functional programming
- Experience with graph technologies is a plus. Familiarity with Semantic Web (RDF) and Sparql
- Experience with distributed computing is a plus. Familiarity with Zookeeper/Storm/Spark/HDFS
- Experience with Selenium, Cucumber
- Experience with enhancing and maintaining mission-critical software in a fast-paced environment
Pay Range: $67.29 - $75.29
