CT TECHNOLOGIST FOR 13 WEEK CONTRACT IN LAWRENCE, MA!

Local / Travel Contract

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our medical imaging team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of specialized technical tasks involved in operating CT equipment to produce diagnostic images of patients' internal organs and tissues. The CT Technologist will collaborate closely with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and high-quality imaging results.

$2,394.00 - $2,860.00 per Week

Nights

3x12 Hr. Shifts (36 Hrs. per Week) (Saturday, Sunday, & Monday)

Responsibilities:

• Perform CT Scans: Operate computed tomography equipment to obtain diagnostic images according to physician orders.
• Patient Preparation: Ensure patients are properly positioned and prepared for CT procedures, explaining the process to alleviate any concerns and ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Safety and Radiation Protection: Adhere to safety protocols and radiation protection measures to minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff.
• Image Quality Control: Monitor image quality to ensure accurate diagnostic interpretation, making adjustments to equipment settings as necessary.
• Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate patient records, including procedure documentation, patient history, and imaging data.
• Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and calibration of CT equipment to ensure optimal functionality and image quality.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to review and interpret imaging results, providing assistance during procedures as needed.
• Continuing Education: Stay abreast of advancements in CT technology and imaging techniques through ongoing education and training.

Qualifications:

• Education: Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
• Certification: ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in CT imaging required.
• Licensure: State licensure as a radiologic technologist.
• Experience: Previous experience as a CT Technologist preferred, but new graduates with relevant clinical experience may be considered.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating CT equipment and associated software, with a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues and ensure accurate imaging results.
• Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment.
