LPN Clinic Nurse

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Clinical Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a Clinical Nurse, you will provide direct patient care, administer medications, and assist with various medical procedures. 40 Hrs./Wk.= $1600 Per week

Hourly Pay = $40.00hr.

Weekly Taxable:$600 Per week

weekly travel stipend: $1000 Per Week

OT Rate:$47.50/hr.

Responsibilities:

Shift: Day 5x8

13 weeks contract

08 hours a day

40 hours per week.

Requirements:

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Minnesota Board of Nursing | Prior to Start Date | HR Primary Sources

Basic Life Support (BLS) | American Heart Association (AHA)| Within 90 days of Start Date | Learning Management System

Duties:
- Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' health status
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patients' vital signs and document changes in their condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding their healthcare needs
- Assist with medical procedures such as catheterization and acute pain management
- Ensure accurate documentation of patient information in electronic health record systems such as Athenahealth
- Adhere to infection control protocols to maintain a safe and clean environment
- Provide care for patients across various settings including assisted living, urgent care, and infectious disease care
- Safely lift and transfer patients as needed

Skills:
- Proficient in catheterization procedures
- Knowledge of ICD-10 coding system for accurate documentation
- Experience in providing care in assisted living facilities, urgent care settings, and infectious disease care units
- Competent in acute pain management techniques
- Ability to provide age-appropriate care, including toddler care
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Athenahealth
- Strong understanding of infection control protocols and practices
