To be a successful Teradata DBA Consultant embody GBSI's core employee characteristics of being passionate about IT, taking full ownership of your work & having a growth mindset. Work you'll do/Responsibilities
- Minimum 5 years of Teradata DBA experience.
- DBA functionalities and responsibilities for Client.
- Teradata Database administration and troubleshooting
- Viewpoint monitoring and administration, Backup and recovery using Data Stream Architecture (DSA) and NetBackup.
- Teradata Active System Management
- Performance Tuning and optimization & Code review for Teradata Best Practices
- Access Rights and Roles Management, Profile and space management, Database Object management
- Teradata database object management, PDCR (Performance Data Collection and Reporting), DBQL and RESUAGE(RSS)
- Join Strategies in Teradata Data migration between system
- Performance Tuning and optimization & Code review for Teradata Best Practices
- Access Rights and Roles Management, Profile and space management, Database Object management
- What qualifications you need:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
What will give you an edge:
- Knowledge of BTEQ, FASTLOAD, MULTILOAD and TPT DDL and DML SQL, functions and stored procedure in Teradata
