Genius Talent has partnered with a leading Telecom company in search of a proactive individual to spearhead continuous improvements to its Salesforce platform as a Salesforce Developer. This role entails gathering requirements, designing scalable solutions, and overseeing the product roadmap. The ideal candidate exhibits a deep understanding of the Salesforce platform and its alignment with business goals. Proficiency in change management, governance, and project communication is essential. The candidate should excel in stakeholder engagement, adeptly translating technical jargon into understandable terms while clarifying design options and their impacts.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, customize, and optimize Salesforce applications using Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components.
- Design, write, and maintain test classes to ensure adherence to Salesforce standards.
- Lead the salesforce.com integration and implementation team, leveraging automation and integration tools like Copado, Workato, DBT, Fivetran, and Census.
- Provide guidelines for APEX Code, VisualForce, and advanced customizations, demonstrating proficiency in triggers and Apex code.
- Effectively manage sandbox environments and implement DevOps/release management practices.
- Identify and address unused or underutilized platform features, while managing the platform roadmap and defining priorities in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Handle user support tickets using Freshservice and create technical documentation using Confluence.
- Manage integrated applications and third-party suppliers efficiently.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
- Utilize analytical skills to make technical decisions, manage risk, and prioritize tasks in dynamic environments.
- Proactively enhance platforms through scalable, best practice solutions, while fostering excellent relationships and communication with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Translate requirements into technical solutions and provide training to end users and stakeholders.
- Ensure availability and responsiveness to inquiries, with experience in implementing Salesforce configuration changes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- 5 years of experience in application support, with a preference for candidates with experience in a Salesforce-centered environment (Sales Cloud, Support Cloud, Field Service Lightning, Comms Cloud (Vlocity), Experience Cloud).
- Salesforce Administrator certification or additional Salesforce certifications (e.g., Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder) are advantageous.
- Strong customer service and critical thinking skills, with a demonstrated ability to analyze issues and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to devise solutions.
- Ability to quickly learn innovative technologies.
- Familiarity with IT tools such as IT FreshService, JIRA Software, and JIRA Confluence.
- Experience with Broadband applications, including VC4, Symphonica, GTV, and 3GIS, is a plus.
