Software Verification Champion

Genova Technologies has an immediate opening for a Software Verification Champion for a long-term project with one of our agricultural clients. This position would work onsite in Cedar Rapids, Iowa at our Genova Technologies office.   Job Description and Responsibilities: In this position, you will lead the efficient verification of the software for advanced technology solutions. Additional responsibilities include: ·        Work with a global team to create a universal verification plan ·        Set automation strategy for responsible platforms and work with software development teams and test automation engineer to implement ·        Use a deep understanding of the software solution being implemented as well as understanding customer needs to ensure software meets those needs Qualifications: ·        Bachelor’s degree in Software or Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience ·        Solid understanding of how software is written and implemented  ·        Experience being able to break down complex features and identify problems and then clearly find and document plans for a resolution  ·        Understanding test strategy and ways for efficiently verifying software  ·        Capability to bring clarity to unclear situations  ·        Experience working in a team environment with cross-functional teams  ·        Willingness to perform on-vehicle testing ·        Understanding of Agile development  ·        Proficient written and verbal communication skills  Preferred Qualifications ·        Test Driven and Acceptance Experience with test automation tools and environments (HIL, SIL)  ·        Experience creating production-quality automated test scripts  ·        Experience with Python or other similar coding tools  ·        Writing Unit Tests, ·        Test Driven Development  Genova offers a competitive benefits package that includes: ·         Medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance ·         PTO that accrues on each payday ·         Paid holidays ·         A generous 401K plan ·         And more   If you want to work for an energetic company that offers you opportunities for career growth, continuous learning and diverse working environment, then Genova is the place for you!
