What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Supervisor - Days position at GENPAK LLC?
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the hands-on oversight of a maintenance team that safely and efficiently supports a 24/7 manufacturing environment. Supervise a team of 12-20 employees including Shift Mechanics, Tooling and Machinists and Electro-Mechanics. Responsibilities are to be completed with consideration of safety, cost, efficiency, timeliness, and production of a quality product within specifications. This is a highly collaborative position requiring strong organizational, planning, follow up and communication skills.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- 5 years of hands-on experience working on and with mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic manufacturing systems.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a leadership or supervisory position within a maintenance department.
- Education or a degree in a relevant field a plus.
- Knowledge of plastics industry equipment, specifically extrusion and thermoforming a plus.
- Knowledge of MS Office and familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
