What are the responsibilities and job description for the Licensing and Compliance Officer position at GenPsych?
As a Licensing and Compliance Officer for GenPsych, you will be responsible for coordinating and implementing the organization’s quality assurance program for the community served.
Job Functions and Duties:
- Conduct ongoing assessments of GenPsych’s current practices to identify treatment alternatives and strategies for delivery of programs and individualized services
- Reports evaluation/assessment findings and prepares recommendations for approval by Site Director and management team.
- Monitors programs and services to ensure desired changes are implemented, objectives are achieved and program changes are maintained
- Documents client outcomes resulting from implementation and monitoring of Quality Assurance program.
- Evaluates programs and services to determine compliance with accreditation and/or certification standards.
- Designs research and program evaluation projects and establish methods for data collection.
- Analyzes statistical data collected from studies and presents completed data to site director and senior management.
Qualifications:
- A Master's Degree in one of the following fields: psychology, social work, nursing, education or occupational therapy.
- Three or more years of professional experience in psychology, social work, nursing, education, adjunctive therapy, case management, staff development or a closely related area.
- Development and monitoring of treatment plans pertaining to programs and services for persons with mental health and addiction issues.
- A strong understanding of research processes, including methodology, tools and statistical analysis.
- Outstanding communication (oral and written) skills.
