Position Overview:
The Procurement Specialist will support procurement activities, ensuring the efficient and cost-effective acquisition of goods, services, equipment, and engineering projects. This role involves collaborating with suppliers, prepare and process purchase orders, and assisting with the procurement process. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of effective communication with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Reports to: Senior Procurement Manager
Responsibilities
- Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure high-quality and cost-effective procurement of goods, services, equipment, and engineering projects.
- Prepare and process purchase orders, ensuring timely and accurate order placements.
- Maintain and update purchasing records, supplier data, and pricing information in the system.
- Coordinate with internal departments and suppliers to meet procurement needs and ensure timely delivery.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
- Resolve supplier-related issues and discrepancies in orders or deliveries.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance procurement processes and efficiency.
Required Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Prior experience in procurement or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience with S2P/SAP systems is a plus.
- Strong negotiation and time management skills.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of procurement practices and principles is preferred.
