Your Role Gensler is seeking a highly experienced Retirement Plans Manager to lead our complex and diverse global retirement programs (ESOP, Profit Sharing, 401k, etc.) and our Principal stock program. The Retirement Plans Manager is responsible for the successful and compliant operations of our current programs as well as the research and establishment of new programs, especially outside of the US as Gensler grows globally. A successful candidate will need to show collaborative leadership, a strong client-service mindset, and have the ability to manage complexity. This role requires close cooperation with many internal disciplines including HR, Finance, Legal and Compliance and expert vendor management. What You Will Do Manage the firm’s global retirement plans and team, and all retirement vendor relationships. Manage the administration of the Principal Stock program. Research and make recommendations regarding retirement plan options as Gensler expands into new countries and support set up of new retirement programs. Direct benefits compliance, including non-discrimination testing, Audits, and 5500s. Work with retirement partners to evaluate existing retirement programs globally and identify new opportunities and enhancements. Facilitate Retirement Committee Meetings and provide guidance to the Committees. Coordinate with Finance team in developing retirement contribution projections. Execute annual ESOP liability studies. Manage retirement projects through the entire life cycle, coordinating the efforts of vendors, internal team members and other business units. Perform GL reconciliations and prepare reports. Your Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance or related area required. 10 years’ experience working in an HR department focused on retirement administration; strongly prefer experience working in a large, global organization; minimum 2 years evaluating and establishing benefits programs outside the U.S. Comprehensive knowledge of ERISA, and other benefits-related legislation with ability to learn and understand emerging state/federal/global regulations. ESOP experience preferred. Experience with managing large projects through the entire life cycle, including coordinating the efforts of vendors, internal team members and other business units. Experience with managing the implementation of a new vendor, including determining the necessary steps, rallying resources (HRIS, payroll, finance, other), and managing change management communications. Working knowledge of employment law and compliance regulations at federal, state and local levels. Experience working in a global Professional Services firm preferred. Excellent organizational skills; attention to detail. Advanced MS Office proficiency required, particularly Excel. Strong analytical skills with the ability to manipulate large amounts of data using technology. Experience with Workday preferred. Understanding of Financial reporting preferred. Ability to produce timely deliverables and manage multiple and shifting priorities in a dynamic environment. Ability to work independently, navigate and maintain productivity in a matrix environment. Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) required. Strong customer service orientation, a team player with the ability to establish and maintain collaborative working relationships.
