Overview
We are looking for a Biller PC to join our team. This position will directly report to the Regional Director of Projects PC or Revenue and AR Manager PC and is responsible preparing and reviewing all contract billing invoices before distribution to clients and monitors receivables.
- Receives/reviews Explanation of Benefits statements for all contract checks, identifies duplicate invoices and reconciles accounts by comparing contract rates to billed amounts.
- Determines sales adjustments, completes related forms as necessary and forwards to FSU Manager
- Responds to billing inquiries from branch offices, insurance companies, and other Gentiva departments and provides guidance to branches regarding billing procedures, contract billing requirements and potential collections problems
About You
- HS Diploma or equivalent. College degree preferred
- Minimum of one year billing experience in a health care environment generally required
- Knowledge of health care billing procedures and microcomputer software/hardware required
