Essential Functions:
Ø Be the example of the Core Values for your office and establish that environment in the workplace.
Ø Adhere to proper chain-of-command by acting as a liaison between staff members and Management and respond in a timely fashion to any phone calls, messages, emails or any other mode of communication from internal or external sources.
Ø Manage the Doctor’s schedule in order to ensure maximized production and an efficient patient flow that fosters teamwork between the front and back staff regardless of time off for personal or training reasons. Conduct New Patients on clinic tour, highlighting the essential points of the tour as necessary.
Ø Track and approve/deny staff member time off requests. Ensure coverage for any missed shifts and hire temporary help if needed and submit temporary labor forms to the accounting department.
Ø Conduct training with all staff members to improve overall performance.
Ø Manage all staff certifications. Instruct and coach team members on all their phone calls.
Ø Take ownership of and accurately review progress toward established production and collection goals.
Ø Conduct daily huddles and monthly staff meetings.
Ø Coordinate with all team members and hold them accountable for the proper execution of daily responsibilities.
Ø Evaluate staff member performance, complete regular staff member reviews, manage staff behaviors including tracking and administering any necessary disciplinary action.
Ø Complete all daily, weekly, and monthly reporting as determined by Management including but not limited to: daily updates, new patients, KPI trackers, Tuesday rock updates, posting daily/MTD/YTD statistics in break room during morning huddle, and day sheet/daily deposits reports.
Ø Collect and monitor deposit reports along with the cash box throughout the month. Make all cash/check deposits at least once a day.
Ø Verify staff payroll daily and approve all payroll at the end of day on the 15th and the last day of every month.
Ø Securely update and maintain staff member records.
Ø Maintain compliance records including OSHA binder, injury reports, worker’s comp claims, MSDS binder, office safety, first aide, escape plan, AED, and emergency kit updates.
Ø Attend mandatory meetings, communicate back to staff, delegate as needed to team members.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 25 per week

Experience:
- Dental Assisting: 4 years (Preferred)
License/Certification:
