ABOUT THIS POSITION
Our Food Service Workers and Baristas connect with, laugh with and uplift the lives of the customers we serve in a higher education environment. The work goes beyond running the register and handcrafting a perfectly made beverage; it’s about presenting the Genuine culture while providing great customer service.
- Provide Genuine quality customer service with all clientele by greeting, thanking, etc.
- Craft drinks to order with care and accuracy.
- Ring out guests as needed at the cash register and follow cash handling procedures
- Ensure food safety standards are being followed.
- Prep / cook any food items as needed.
- Provide great customer service following Genuine standards.
- Maintain a clean working environment and help the team with any additional cleaning duties.
- Restock areas as needed, following proper FIFO rotation.
- Assist other team members as needed.
- All other duties as assigned.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be flexible & team-oriented!
- 1 year of food or customer service experience/training in a mid-high volume food service facility or restaurant.
- Willingness to learn the compliance requirements of the USDA National School Lunch Program.
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic and level headedness.
- Punctual and able to adhere to the time and attendance policy.
- Able to climb stairs and lift up 50 lbs.
- Interest in and committed to Genuine Foods’ mission to use food to help students enhance their minds, bodies and happiness.
- Must be able to work in a school environment.

Salary : $14 - $16
