Cloud Solutions Architect

Genzeon is looking for a Cloud Solutions Architect. This position is with one of our Healthcare Client and its Remote.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Define the API roadmap, strategy, and solution for an enterprise customer, having good knowledge of SOA and API frameworks.
• Mentor teams for designing, implementing, testing, and deploying the APIs using the latest technologies and best practices out there in the market
• Design and implement API management using API management software like AWS API Gateway which would include API proxies, mashups, northbound and southbound security, rate limiting, analytics, monetization, and developer portals
• Leverage on Cloud environment and service-oriented architecture principles to define and own Solution Architecture (applications and data technologies)
• Work with clients to design a full-stack solution using software that fully integrates with customer’s existing cloud infrastructure from data flow, security, DevOps, and other standpoints
• Propose suggestions and best practices to optimize customers’ cloud presence, performance, security, and cost
• Responsible for the evaluation of technical risks and map out mitigation strategies
• Carry out debugging, troubleshooting, modifications, and unit testing of custom solutions built on the organization/clients platform
• Develop new specs, documentation; and partake in the development of technical procedures and user support guides
• Responsible for the creation of a well-informed cloud strategy and administer the adaption process
• Evaluate cloud applications, hardware, and software at regular intervals
• Develop and organize cloud systems and work closely with IT security to monitor the company’s cloud privacy
• Provide prompt response to technical issues in a professional manner
• Direct infrastructure movement procedure, including bulk application transfers into the cloud environment
• Responsible for spotting the cloud architecture solutions to effectively meet the strategic needs of the company.
• Ability to lead architecture discussions and influence key decision-makers around deployment topologies, scaling, performance, and sizing.

 Skills Required:

• Cloud Architecture Certification (AWS or Azure) or strong architecture experience on Cloud
• 5 years’ experience in architecting and implementing solutions with minimum of 3 years’ experience with cloud solutions
• 4 to 7 years of experience in SOA middleware Integration technologies
• Knowledge and Experience of 12 Factor Development, with multi-tiered applications design.
• Experience working with OWASP security threat protection strategies and implementation
• Experience with web services related standards such as HTTP, REST, SOAP, OAuth, OpenID, and JWT.
• Excellent Development experience with Java and other languages like JavaScript, Python, Node.js.
• Excellent analytical and effective communication skills
• Excellent knowledge of REST/JSON with working knowledge of other protocols and Design patterns.
• In-depth knowledge of HTTP(s) /HTTPS protocol, web services
• In-depth working experience in security and identity protocols such as OpenID, TLS, OAuth, SAML, SSO
• Experience in SOA design and implementation and solution integration
• Working knowledge of cloud (AWS/Azure)
